Dial it up,
This thread shows exactly why the games can be manipulated to keep them close and "exciting" without any fear of getting caught. Anyone complaining is simply discredited as a disgruntled homer whose team lost.
Since I don't care who wins most games, what upsets me is that once they start manipulating the games, they cease to become a fair competitive game for both teams and for me, that devalues my interest and I usually just turn to something else.
I quit watching games when
Video review is taking place
Calls manipulated to let losing team catch up
Any game announced by that caustic Dan Dakich
The seventh stoppage of play in the last 46 seconds of a game
Any game that a team can't score at least one point a minute.
In other words, I don't finish watching very many games.
Do you honestly think games are manipulated and covered by "bad calls"? Do you think if they've been doing this for a long while (which I assume you believe) that ALL coaches and ALL players would keep their mouth shut about it? If it truly was rigged, people other than pissed off fans would've spoken out about it by now, particularly people on the inside such as assistant coaches who, in all reality, have nothing to lose. Are you that close-minded to believe that a bunch of college kids, for years, throwing their NBA careers on the line in big games and their individual performance, that bad calls and rigged matches wouldn't be spoken out against? A "bad call" on a player in the championship risks their entire basketball career. I also stopped reading your post after the second paragraph, because the nonsense logarithmic defense you founded to defend your argument is not worth my time. College kids can barely handle, and sometimes cannot, handle social media, and say reckless things. Again, what makes you think that coaches and players alike would keep this big of a secret for so long if indeed it were true that games were rigged? Get a grip dude.
