No I like 51, 70 better haha
But no, just cause he's NCAA leader 3 weeks into the outdoor season doesn't mean anything
Last year, Brandon McBride, Eluid Rutto, and Edward Kemboi still ended up w/ lower 1:45's last year, we still have plenty of meets to go
The real question is, does Alex Amankwah know how to RACE, McBride knows how to race, Ryan Schnulle knows how to race, Edward Kemboi knows how to race, does he have a lot of racing experience? Is he going to pull a Soratos and run a 23 second 3rd 200m?
As far as I know, the NCAA leader for the indoor mile in the last 4 years hasn't won the NCAA title, 3 of those had broke the NCAA Record in the mile at the Millrose Games
This was true for the men's 1500m, the men's 3k, the men's 5k indoor, the men's 5k outdoor, the mens 10k outdoor, the women's 1500m, the women's outdoor 5k and the women's 10k, NCAA leaders, but no title
