The jogfest in 2013Last year at Stanford, that was his season debut after being injured all of indoor season, if he ran a DL 5k in top 1500m fitness (3:31) I wouldn't doubt him running close to 13:02, Salazar said he wants him to work on his speed this year, but he's still a strength based 1500m runner first

Centro is training to run a 1:41.x 800m and a 12:58 5000m. He also plans to run sub 3:29 for 1500m. His amino acids ingestions/infusions are now perfectly calibrated.

I heard from a reliable cousin of his sister's friend that Centro and Salazar are opening a micro brewery together in Portland that will offer a special recovery brew that includes L-Carnetine. It is apparently not as effective as direct injections of this legal "supplement" but is certainly a lot more pleasant way to get it into the bloodstream. Smart of them to capitalize on the recent surge in publicity.

It is obvious, he will switch his focus to 800 this year.

1. Salazar once said about Galens training, it is all about speed, endurance comes by itself. Thus a 1500 guy should focus on 800 according to his thinking.

2. Centro performed well in the 1000 m race.

He is probably not running 5000 m.

1. He did it last year - so it would not be 'big' news.

2. He did not run 3000 indoors for preperation.

3. Salazar is all about under distance speed with all of the other NOP guys.

My bet is now that USATF is producing some kind of documentary on him kinda like they did with Webb's retirement and Sanya Richards Ross I think

There is a new event I've been told will be announced soon. Perhaps Centro is the lead athlete and is running a new event. Like a 400.

Yeah. Young Centro fancies himself a joker, so I'd bet it's April Fools related.

The market is totally big enough for another caffeinated gum product...There's hella market research on the need for this type of product. You heard it hear first...Centro Chews will be like big league chew...'cept for the runner who needs a quick jolt.
