Junior W was sort of a joke. Not sure why anyone other than Kenya/Ethiopia even bothered to make the trip.

Yeah exactly, it's annoying. Rojo keeps calling me for results but there are none.
Getting a live update from Rojo right now.
Gidey (the girl who won) said it was unexpected as this is her first ever international competition. She was 3rd at the Ethiopian national championships last year where she set her 16:19 5000 PB.
Top US girl was Kaitlyn Benner of Colorado (she was 81st at NCAAs). Benner said she wanted to balance going out well, but not too hard with the top Kenyans/Ethiopians. Said it was a lot different than running at NCAAs because of all the man-made obstacles. She thinks she was 27th, but wasn't sure.
Still can't find a working stream. I'm about to not give a F anymore. I couldn't get USA's to work and now World's.
Man made obstacles? Don't tell me.
where is it? I saw the end of the first race and now it's just a title screen saying "coming up" etc.
eritrea off to a fast start. didnt work out for the kenyan girls, lets see how it plays out

Use chrome extension ZenMate and go to the BBC. Info here:
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2015/03/2015-world-cross-country-championships-tv-and-live-streaming-info/Junior men's race off. 2 Eritreans were out hard with one Uganda, but the pack caught up and it's a Kenya (Korir) leading now with the two guys from Eritrea, 1 Ethiopian, Uganda and then everyone else.
Connor Mantz..little white guy, strange running form?
Tip: When you install ZenMate, you also need to go into its settings and select UK before trying to access the BBC event page... Have fun!
its bahrain vs kenya right now. only 2 ethiopians in top ten but maybe theyre just sitting back
6 Minutes in this is a great race. Kenya seems in the driver's seat with all 6 in the lead pack, but there are also 3 from Ethiopia, several from Bahrain and 4 Eritreans right at the back of the lead group. Couple from Uganda as well. One tall white guy just off the lead pack! He was in red, not sure who it is.
If the Chinese aren't pumping you full of bai-jo (sic) and sea cucumber, then they aren't respecting you. Demand it.

Hope Derrick didn't lineup in the wrong race...:}
the white-ish dude is a moroccan. looks pretty wiped already, i think he made a big surge to catch the lead pack

Still doesn't work. It goes for about a minute, lagging terribly, then hangs and resets, press play again and it hangs with a still title screen.
13 minutes in there are 3 Kenyans in the top 4. Kenya should have this locked up as long as their other 3 guys don't bomb.
Will be a close battle for 2nd.
To the guy who says Cain would have won. i HIGHLY doubt it. She didn't even win NXN. Why in God's name do you thinks she'd win this?
This race is a strength runner's race and Cain/Salazar said they learned she's an 800/1500 runner now not 1500/5k.
The Chinese TV came on. It's hilarious. They are showing all of the officials making the speaches and what not. Haven't shown any running yet. I guess the junior races aren't really important but it's kind of funny.

This is so frustrating if the USA had run the best women juniors Cain, Efraimson, Cranny etc. They WOULD have been the team champions, Cain would have easily won the individual title and Efraimson would have been top 3, but if you don't show up, you can't win, Salazar says it is more important for Cain as he thinks she can run 3:52-3:55 for 1500 this year, don't know what the others excuses not to run are.
On paper maybe, real world race day x-country, a bronze , silver at best.
