can someone explain how to login and create a design using that platform? I have created two accounts, one as a designer, one as a customer, can't get to the submit anything, no matter what.
what am I doing wrong?!

Where we learn to run on hate
how about including some of the most popular LR phrases:
pics?
who?
who's Jordan Hasey?
___'s back baby!
etc.

That doesn't help me understand the joke.
cant figure out how to create a design on the platform but:
Front: LetsRun.com logo
Back (at like the top of the back where a last name is on a jersey): Internet Running Expert (or Internet Troll)
also, PLEASE DO A PERFORMANCE SHIRT. like a short sleeve running shirt
brojos,
help us out here. I am not the only one having a hard time using the website.
Wejo/Rojo - you might look at/talk to Sporthill out of EUG. They have made some nice shirts for OREGON and the weight/texture of the shirt was great. Suitable for casual wear or for running. I have one in heather grey, they might have other colors too, you would need to check.
I would encourage all the Letsrunners out there to NOT participate in this design contest. Crowdsourcing of design services amounts to most designers getting paid nothing for their work. It would be like a journalist spending several hours covering a story and only getting paid if their piece was chosen out of hundreds of submissions. Who can survive working like that? Well, there are enough people--mostly in third world countries--contributing their design work to make this an attractive option for design services. I strongly believe that these people are being exploited and we should not support this business model. Do this the right way. Hire a graphic designer and pay him or her for their work.
I can hear the crowd cheering me on as I race on 4/20 wearing my LetsRun T only I won't be up front 2nd or 3rd corral.
Let me know when you guys are set maybe you could send me a free B. I can then tell people you sponsored ME.
In fact send me 2 and I will wear one at the expo.

Pirate Cat Gun Girl is from one of THE FUNNIEST LRC threads ever! I'm sure the link to and the photos on that collection are long gone. It was a thread about a delusional young man who went about trying to break the world record for the "marathon on a treadmill". The subsequent cast of characters involved made the crew for Napolean Dynamite look cosmopolitan. Some LRC sleuth uncovered a link to the guy's blog, photographer, photo collection etc and all hell broke loose around here.
Those were the days.
Whatever the design ends up being, please DON'T use the "Where your dreams become reality." on it. That is the lamest motto ever.
How about a contest to get a better motto?

Can you give me a little more feedback about what is happening? We've had 28 designs submitted so other people are able to submit.

Why was my post with that picture, the only one deleted from this thread?

You are obviously new here. The original Pirate/Cat/Gun girl thread appears to have disappeared.
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/process_search.php?search=%22pirate%2Fcat%2Fgun%22+girl&search_time=0and from Jan 15, this year: "I don't know if Pirate/Cat/Gun Girl was its own thread, but I never saw any of the original postings on that, much to my regret."
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=6303363How about just a picture of a calculator?
+1 on the anti-crowd sourcing remarks.
My only request is that you use higher-quality shirts this time around. The PUMA ones were terrible. Bad fit--too wide and short. Cheap rigid cotton. Regret my purchase. Straight to the goodwill.
I suggest "American Apparel" ($$) or "Next Level" ($) as brands of cotton tshirts that fit nonfat people well and still look good wash after wash.
Will only buy if tshirt is quality.

Canvas is another decent brand:

Now for this contest do I just take a picture of a plain T-Shirt and import it into photo shop.. re-size it and then create the logo on the image of that T-shirt I imported? Is that what we need to do?

Since Alan Webb is back so are the LRC tshirts. We want new tshirts to be ready by Boston a little over a month from now.
Once again we're having a design contest. The details are here:
http://jobs.designcrowd.com/job.aspx?id=1060231Winner gets $355 if I'm reading it correctly (they design crowd site takes a commission off what we paid them).
We may select multiple winners. We definitely think one winner will be one that highlights LRC but if you design a cool running shirt, or something edgy that could win as well. Main requirement is it have LetsRun.com on it.
Good luck.
You've got 7 days to get your entries in.
