Hall dropping out doesn't bode well for his documentary, the 41st day, getting a feel good ending any time soon. They must have enough footage for 5 or 6 documentaries by now.

Is it me or does the mens leader look like he is out for a Sunday jog?!

max king's only 2 minutes off ward.
Ward was on 2:14 pace but his last couple miles were sub 5. He could run as well as 2:12 high.
Sara's last 5k was 19:58. Did she stop for some reason? If she's just slowing, the last 10k is going to be a long one for her.
Still wouldn't be surprised if Ryan had an injury coming on... Even when he was running alright it did not look like his old smooth stride. They keep wondering how he misjudged his fitness, but when you're doing all your training at 8-9000' it must be too hard to judge what you could do at sea level.
Ryan Hall's DNF isn't exactly helping her at this very moment...
Ward on 2:14 pace through 35k, still looking pretty strong.

Impressive given the conditions as his PR is 2:14:00. If he finishes this out, he becomes a contender for the Olympic team.
Oh ho. Sage is slowing. 35K 1:56:04.64 1:56:04.64 5:20/miETA: 2:19:55He is not going to make the OTQ.

Does being passed by a white man give a kenyan the same feeling as being passed by a woman gives a white man?
Did they just say Ryan Hall is going to be joining them?
Sub 2:13 still possible, 2:13 low more likely
Blake Russell leading the US women's race. Very impressive -- she's 39 years old.
I think I heard PRs for BLake of 4:06 for 1500, and 2:29ish for the marathon: an impressive range.
did you see the message scroll across the ktla screen from Kyle wishing Eric cartman his best?
We should get a plug in for lrc.

Correct. And she ran those PRs only eight months apart!
