Keep in mind that both Efraimson/Cain ran their respective 9:00/9:02 fresh and on oversized tracks, and Cain lower 8:58 was also fresh and that was outdoors with arguably nice weather,
Cranny had a 4:31 1600 the night before

Elise, all of Colorado are celebrating with you! Congratulations!
And to think it all started w/ that 4:40 at NBIN Nationals just 2 years ago
Cain's two mile indoor record from two years ago is substantially better. 8:58 = 9:42, Cain ran 9:38.

It's not SUBSTANTIALLY better, she was running against a bunch of pros, and like I said in my previous post, Cain was FRESH
Cain was fresh and didn't go out in 3:06.

If it's an honest pace, I don't see why not?
You don't see why not? Did you miss how the runner from Arkansas blew her away even though she started with a lead? Is she out of outdoor eligibility or something? I would call her the favorite.

Dominque Scott is most likely going to run 5000m outdoors, so if Elise just runs the 1500m they won't race each other, I'm actually very excited to see what Scott can do at 5000m after her terrific indoor season, I don't see why she couldn't go 15:10-15:15
Does Sisson (15:12) have outdoor eligibility? If so I would call her the favorite, but I don't think anyone besides her can beat Scott at 5000m, maybe Avery (15:26), or Cuffe (15:13) if she comes back in similar shape, but that's about it
Like said earlier, if O'Conner and Quigley don't double which I don't think they will, Cranny vs Houlihan
Just a minor correction that Cuffe ran 15:11
According to Sisson's Providence web profile, she redshirted last spring so will be running outdoors or at least is eligible to do so.
Add Rosie Clarke/Iona and Teshlek (sp?)/North Dakota girl to this list of outdoor 1500m favorites headed by Houlihan and Cranny.
Arkansas has a couple of other 4:37 milers who ran the DMR, so likely they will run the 1500m outdoors while Scott anchors the 5k.
Stanford will be at the Penn Relays. Maybe we'll see another DMR dual there.

Haha wow, I can't believe I made that mistake, yes 15:11 not 15:13

Yes, I think Rosie Clark and Erin from ND State will definitely he some good dark horses, maybe Price from Miss State? She improved very rapidly, if she staus consistent, she has a kick, she almost beat Scott at SEC's....
Indeed
