Just wasn't the day for my legs. What do you guys do when you have a bad workout?

Yell "gook" at random people.
get real pissed off, write something angsty and dumb in my training log, and move on.
depending on where your at in your season, any kind of hard effort could be beneficial, even if you run like dog poop. this happened a lot to me after recovering from mono, but the awful, short workouts i tried twice a week eventually got better and better until i was back to normal. doesn't do well to brood too much.
Drive to an abandoned warehouse and dance
Think of as many excuses as I can. Even more important after a bad race.
The answer is obvious - I breast feed a kangaroo.
Get really drunk and try to re-do the workout while hammered...

Hydrate extra well. Eat well. Sleep well. Blow it off.
Good luck, Enjoy the Sport.
i try to stop the workout as early as possible if it really is not going to happen. Then eat some carbs and try again in 2 days. If you hang on until you bury yourself, you will need more days before you go again.
I've had shitty workouts almost everyday for the past 20 to 25 years. I just continue to have them and i'm guessing probably most letsrunner's would say the same. I just go home and get ready for the next shitty workout.
You're always a winner if you try
Get up and DO it again.
Beat my wife.
I have a temper tantrum http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jsUeTep6tzo
Have a beer, and realize that a bad workout is better than no workout and that there will always be another.
just get the work in. anytime i have a bad workout, it is usually followed by a little breakthrough. just remind yourself its all part of the process and you will feel good again. DO NOT LET IT DISCOURAGE YOU!

My at in your season is what?
Well usually I cool down
You can use every run as an opportunity to learn about yourself and your running.
Write down why it was bad, what you did the day before that may have contributed to it, and how you might tweak things for next time. Learn, don't dwell, if you want to get better .
I go on letsrun.com and ask the pros.
