1. And the winner by a mile... Old Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. A total pit. Went to a Phillies game during a heat wave and there wasn't a breeze to be bought. Stifling hot! It was like sitting in a giant sauna with lots of drunks. I think I lost 5 lbs. by the 6th inning.
Landslide. I think most people from Philadelphia will tell you how awful it was. Never been there for an Eagles game, but Phillies games were dire. Towards the end of its life in the 90s the Phillies were a trash team, so the stadium was almost 85-90% empty. They gave away free tickets on the back of hot dog boxes. Among the people there included drunks often there by themselves, looking to create tension. Day games in August were awful. The temperature inside would reach 120 degrees. In its final years, the entire stadium had a rotten beer stench permeating throughout the area and the floor was like a sticky fly trap. The playing field was harder than the parking lot outside. On a conspiracy theory level, a number of former Phillies have been diagnosed with brain cancer, and some former players blame it on the stadium.
