I'm what you would call a man's man but I must admit I shed a tear after watching this scene.
Who?
When Wilson is floating away from Tom Hanks in Castaway. Can't handle it.

That scene from Forrest Gump where Val Kilmer tells Martin Sheen "you want the truth!? You can't handle the truth!"
That was A Few Good Men, but we all know what you meant.
Tom Hanks can always put together a powerful scene. I remember when his character (Paul Edgcomb) is sitting in the cell with John Coffey near the end of the Green Mile. If you watch the behind-the-scenes footage, Hanks is giving an Oscar-worthy performance while off-camera; not to mention what the other character is doing.
The Godfather.
The baptism of Connie and Carlo's baby... the priest speaking in latin and the organ music; then you see the preparations for the various assassinations happening as the organ music gets louder and louder... the baby starts crying... all the sounds begin to swell, getting more intense and more chaotic as we flash back and forth from the church and the assassins preparing the weapons. Then everything suddenly cuts out and you hear:
"Michael Francis Rizzi, do you renounce Satan?"
Then the organ comes crashing back in as you see Clemenza push the guys back into the elevator and shoot... all the murders begin, while Michael stands at the altar, renouncing Satan, his works, etc.
Pure artistry.
Yes, I agree.. The first time I saw Chief pick up that huge marble sink thing I got GOOSEBUMPS. And when he throws it out the window and runs away... AHH, such great memories. Need to rewatch that. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest definitely has my vote.
The final scene of the lion king easily. Still gives me goosebumps every time
The beach scene of Saving Private Ryan. I cried like a baby.
Agreed, the first 17-or-so minutes of Saving Private Ryan is very, very powerful.
I also agree with the poster who mentioned the 'Dawn Of Man' section of 2001.
I like this scene from The Ninth Configuration quite a bit:

This one is also a favorite (same movie):
The final scene of Rob Roy.
Last scene of "On the Waterfront"
Fredo getting whacked in the Godfather
Walken v. Hopper, True Romance, 1993
Both of these from Lords of Dogtown
To the person who mentioned the bench scene in Good Will Hunting, Thank-you.
There are so many great scenes in that movie. The bench scene by itself is great, but becomes more powerful within the context of the whole movie. Robin Williams was certainly a gifted comedian, but I will always remember him in this dramatic role
Phoebe cates ... Pool ... Fast times at ridgemont high
Nothing more powerful than that
You know that scene from Van Wilder... The one where Tara Reid puts colon blowout in her boyfriend's protein shake... And then during his exam he leaves to spew diarrhea in that trash can... Yeah I'd say the most powerful scene ever is the one in Titanic where Jack plays poker
This may seem sorta silly but Matthew Mcconaghey's closing argument in "A Time to Kill." I was born in the late 70s, have lived my whole life up north, and consider myself liberal. I'd like to believe I am not racist at all and believe in equality to the core. But that one got me.
