Sano and Imai will be the local heros for their brave 20 Miles. 10k to go.

Yeaah Imai, fought back to the group.
Kleppin still bleeding:

Kiprotich rotates through the back around a left hander. Kebede and Negesse side by side, leading a 2x4 column. Imai having a career day still
she isn't using the 2:28 juice
The rubber has started meeting the road.
Kebede is cranking it up.
Kiprotich seems to be feeling the heat or may be, he's just being cautious.
Either way, things are turning.
what's missing.

All the buildings are so clean, no graffiti, no liter on the side walks or roads, such a huge city to be so clean. amazing.
Sano and #126 are together, still in shouting distance of the pack, not that they're making up any ground.
Chumba checks the time: 10:50 AM local time...
Imai dropping again.
Geneti and Dachasa taking their turn at the front now.
What happened to the announcers? I'm back and it was totally quiet. I've probabaly seen commercials (almost all just promoting universal sports) for 7 of the last 10 minutes.
Women through 30k in 1:42:10. Still a big pack. I'll let them sort out their bottles before making calls about surges. A lot of motion though
women 30k @ 1:42:08 @ 2:23:39

Haven't been on Usports. I've got two british sounding guys, one of them knows Finnish apparantly...
In all honesty, hard to tell sub elite Japanese men from elite Japanese women in the women's pack
Chumba off!
Kebede appears to have been dropped.

Inaonekana.
1:44:44. Chumba shows his face. 14:55 last 5k.
Kebede caught out after a bottle grab. They're not cranking it, so he can make it back.
Wuhp, no, he looks like he just opened his heating bill for February; not happy.
And thats the move. Chumba strings them out through a curve.
Up the bridge, group down to 4. Dasacha, Chumba, Kiprotich, and Negesse. Chumba still pushing.
Single file now right after 35, Chumba gonna make them work
Great coverage and no commercials on

Kiprotich in position 4, hat off. He's got a face of determination, probably waiting for Chumba to finish his surge before going over the top.
Imai about to scalp Kebede and Geneti
