Nah, just something about this language that makes it sound like he got a good deal at the wife dealership.
Three American runners have (a) won an NCAA cross country title, and (b) run sub-3:55 mile on the track:
Steve Prefontaine
Adam Goucher
Galen Rupp
Pretty good club.
So by that logic are you saying that Garrett Heath is currently among the best in the world today?
Didn't think so.
pray tell, please show me where heath has finished top 10 in short course world champs? until he does, please zippo the lippo. what, there's no short course? well then I guess NOBODY is claiming heath to be among the best in the world. best int eh world at running a short course race in january? perhaps, but just plain ole "best in the world?" nope, and nobody is claiming that.
if you claim that with goucher, it's a scientific statement. testable for falseness, factually grounded, and supportable with other races to boot. game. set. match. Goucher.
Ah yes, they should have taken it a little easier during those years... Just like the greatest runners in the world do, like the Kenyans and Ethiopians. What an idiot.

Happy birthday to a decent runner that Americans over glorify and treat like this big thing despite never getting in spitting distance of a global medal.
Their seems to be this trend where amazing college and High school distance runners in America spend the important years injured and out. Maybe going that hard at 16-22 is a bad idea.
Nope, at least four, and you are missing the fastest, 3:49 miler Joe Falcon.

You are right and thanks for the correction.
I noted BK and Hacker as "close but just miss". Not sure how I overlooked Falcon from same time frame.
I do believe that's it and still a pretty good club.

He went directly to the manufacturer where wifes are fabricated.

Their seems to be another trend of internet posters acting smug yet not knowing 3rd grade grammar. Priceless.
Otherwise, a good observation on your part.

Try this club:
NCAA Division I titles in:
XC
1500
mile
3000
10000
Not sure how he missed getting in a 5000?
Falcon
