Could you should me where you found the numbers for that? I see that claim from time to time, but am pretty sure someone posted a list of races for the BTC, OTC, and a few others, and Rupp actually finishes (proportionately) a lot more races than the others (though he does cancel planned races quite a bit). Help me out?

The NOP won both Wannamaker miles in dominating fashion. Those were the two highlights of the meet.

You left out Centrowitz in your analysis.

With Rupp, I think it is DNS, not DNF. There have been several instances where he was announced to run a race, but then withdrew at the last minute due to high pollen counts, or other "health issues". Was it the Pre 10000 in 2011 where he even warmed up for the race but then withdrew due to the high pollen count? The only DNF I can recall off the top of my head was the indoor race he dropped out last year after sustaining a very minor injury during the race. It seems like whenever someone at the NOP has a subpar prerformance, it is always due to a "virus" or "heatlh issue". Maybe they just had a shit day or are overtrained but instead of admitting that, they fall back on the "I wasn't feeling well" excuse.

I think alistair cragg takes that crown.

Rowbury and Hasay went with the terrible pacer and suffered as a result. Hasay was in it up to the last lap and then tanked. She looked good, but is not a strong enough to not be affected by bad pacing. Even Rowbury could barely get to the tape after going out in 64. But she still crushed the field.

Centro was brilliant. Flawless performance.

Mary Cain is sick. She is also a work in progress. Salazar has made it clear that he is going to bring her along slowly and has been working on form a lot, which may mean that it will take a year or two to see a big improvement.

Levins had no kick. He actually may be in better shape for 1500-3000 right now. 5000 indoors can wear down bigger runners. I do not think Levins has much experience at that distance indoors. Even if he was in top form, I would not expect him to leave everyone in his dust with a 27 sec kick from the pack. Levins has lots of potential, but he was in a race with guys who were a few steps faster.

The first 409 meters of the women's mile was paced at 30 / 34

Rowbury should be able to handle a 64 quarter / It was running the first 200 meters at approx 30 seconds that screwed things up for her.

Will be interesting to see how she does in the mile in Birmingham this week-end

Wrong on Rowbury/Hasay. They didn't bomb but they didn't run well. The rabbit was fine for Rowbury who was targeting the AR after running 4:22 basically solo for her opener.

Right on Centro. He ran incredible.

Cain has looked bad all indoors, so I wouldn't call another bad performance "bombing". I, like you, am not concerned about her having a disappointing indoor campaign at this point in her career.

Wrong on Levins. He ran flat out bad. He has adequate experience running a fast indoor 5k, is clearly in form as seen in the Armory, and has shown ability to unleash a great kick. He looked flat out there, and would say his result was certainly poor.
