He's making an AR attempt at 1200 meters.
He is coming out with a 3,000meter formulation of his gum.
His tweet said the news has nothing to do with either running or gum.
I'm guessing/hoping it's an enGAYgement.

nah, probably going for the 1150m WR
I am friends with nick. I guess you could say I am part of his "inner circle." and as the tweet said, it has nothing to do with running or gum.
but it has to do with being in the "spotlight." we all know he has good looks, has a nice voice, and isn't afraid to speak in front of a crowd. I won't give any specifics, but he is going to be a tv/internet personality.
dancing with the stars it is

Hi Nick!
Could be...but in the past ABC typically has a celebrity cast unveiling for Dancing. Its scheduled for Feb 24th. I realize the celebrity cast is typically released early through speculation and spoilers, but for Nick to flat out announce something like this before the show does is unlikely and could land him in trouble with the network. Someone suggested American Ninja Warrior via instagram. The city tryouts are taking place next month.

typical self absorbing, cocky behavior from Nick. This guy is a piece of garbage. His 8:20 3000m means he's done. He needs to realize that and just go away. Good grief, no wonder nobody likes this turd.

He brings some positive, upbeat publicity to the sport. Go back to your video games.

no he doesn't. He's an arrogant, cocky S.O.B. He's so full of himself he makes himself and the whole sport look bad. I wish this piece of garbage would just go away.

Wasn't everyone on here just bitching the other day that the TV coverage of Millrose was so awful and that no one's interested in T&F anymore?
Looks like Nick could be the celeb T&F needs to get running back into everyone's living room.
That's a bad thing how?
"Celebrity" happens naturally, which is far different than an attention whore desperately yelling "look at me!"

Nick wouldn't get any non-T&F fans interested in the sport, nobody outside of the very inner circle of "runners" knows who he is or gives 2 craps about him. You could put Usain Bolt on Dancing with the Stars or a reality show and it wouldn't get the Millrose Games more viewers.
Where Nick would be the most useful would be as a commentator for T&F.
