amazing with a 1:05 nearly a 1:04!

Emmanuel Mutai runs 1:03:13 with the Men's winning time in 1:00:42, so not necessarily a fast course.
Impressive, 1:05:09, but still wouldn't qualify her for the Men's Olympic Marathon Trials, which is exactly how it should be. Great standard of 65:00 for the Trials.
Dude, are you plain retarded? It's a women. The women's qual time for B standard is 1:15.
What I am saying is that back in the day when I ran, 2:22:00 was the Marathon standard, which Women could run. 1:05:00 not a single woman can run.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make
The point is that our Marathon Trials Standards should be -
1:05:00
2:15:00
Thank you.
It's up now. Top spot.
We sleep. I finished Millrose coverage last night, went to sleep, woke up, saw a txt from Jon and added it. Although Steve doesn't sleep so if he had been working last night it would have been up earleir.
Very impressive run.

I did find the course map because her old record from last year was at this race.
http://edreamsmitjabarcelona.com/pdf/Recorrido.pdfThe course has an almost 180 degree turn. I'm amazed that's the profile of a course she ran so fast.
Sub 1:05:00 awaits.
TURN ON YOUR SARCASM DETECTORRRRRRRR

If you never do something you can not do it less during certain times.

Do you think when the women get to 1:04 and 2:14, then the trials standard should be 1:03 and 2:13?
In other words the trials standard always faster than the women;s record/s?
I think so it is that way in every other running event 47 for 400, 1:53 for 800 and 3:50 for 1500 all considered great records lasting 20-30+ years with no one breaking them in sight, yet those times would not even be close to qualifying for trials.
Florence can thank Jeptoo and Shobhukova for the deafening silence over this.
3 seconds is hardly shattering

Agreed that 'shattering' is a bit of a stretch, but do any of you know the answer to this:
Has IAAF changed that rule about running with males? I don't follow federations that closely as I am not a member of any and not bound by their 'rules'. For example, I often wear multiple-sponsor-laden clothing, I am free to take EPO, etc. But if I wanted them to recognize a record, I'd care what they thought.
I know some of you are experts on IAAF record certification and hope somebody weighs in here. Keitany's recent run, which unfortunately did not get her the record back, was also in mixed company, so I suspect this has changed back to how it was when Mary set the HM record a few years ago now or when Radcliffe's records were set. I didn't hear about any change, so anyone:
What's the rule now???
The article says she had male pacemakers. Is that allowed?

I don't know if it was a pacer, but a dude was shoulder-to-shoulder with her on the final sprint, no one else in sight. She owes that guy a few $$
Yes. Over 13.1 miles it's not much.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
