"What the pathologist is saying is exactly what he said then! At the time, he had stated that there were injuries to the palm of his hands and his knees, which indicates that when Wanjiru fell, he landed on the four. The problem is that there was another injury at the back of his head, which from his assessment then, was caused by a blunt object at high velocity. According to his scientific assessment, this is the injury that killed him. So if he fell on fours, the only way that the back injury could have been as a result of the fall is if he bounced back up 14 feet then fall back to the ground, this time with the head facing down(horizontal fall). That is practically not possible! The two injuries(to the limbs and to the head) were caused separately. The pathologist is therefore consistent and if his findings are true then it points to murder. As to who murdered him, the police are the ones supposed to solve that part of the riddle. Apart from Sammy Wanjiru's wife, the police were the other suspects. That explains why we might never find out the truth. I believe the CCTV recordings were handed over to detectives(police) and if it implicates one or more of them, that vital piece of evidence is a foregone case."

Anyone with basic common sense could see that if the evidence was correct (if...) about the injuries sustained both to the back of the head and to the front of the palms, knees, etc... That it was simply logically incoherent to construct a fall scenario from that balcony to the driveway pavement and have those injuries manifested as they supposedly were. I'm afraid though at this point, you're dealing with lies within lies and a criminal justice system there that is essentially not up to speed with modern investigative and forensic standards.
The IOC should have become involved and sponsored a thorough investigation of the matter. Sammy's journey to the podium in Beijing was simply amazing and should be respected for the incredible human achievement that it was.
The amounts of money flippantly exchanging hands and possibly being extorted from him as well, was widely known. It's time for more influential voices to speak out against this horrific crime and potentially punish other athletes and agents with "bands" from certain events until a clear determination as to the cause of his death is established and those responsible are put behind bars. Putting internal pressure on them to "get their finger out" on this matter, will help to bring it to fruition.
