Go Nick!! Great season opener. Hopefully he can hang with Zane in a few weeks down in NZ and race each other to a NZ record for the 5000m
2k? What kind of a silly race distance is that?

Mary Cain fans, remember this Dawit girl is the one that ran 3:59 last year and many thought Mary cain wanted no part of and hence Cain ran the 3000 at World Jrs not 1500.
Willis with another Kiwi record. John Walker still has the outdoor mile record.

Tim Hutchings was in Boulder this afternoon announcing at the USA XC championships.
I last heard his voice around 1:40 mountain time during the broadcast on USATV.tv.
How did he get to Boston in time to announce for this meet which started at 4:00 mountain time?
How high is 14 feet 9 inches?

it's called a telephone.
A key point about the women's 2000.
Quick Thought #2: What a difference a year makes.
Last year in this race, American Kim Conley won by 6+ seconds. Her time? 5:41.10. It’s worth noting that Emma Coburn ran 6.09 seconds faster this year than last but finished a spot lower. Last year, Coburn ran 5:47.20 for second.
How high is a millimeter?

lagat 748
leer

dunbar
closed really quick, lagat almost had him - ridiculous @ 40.... lagat is in ~7:35 shape at worst
Tremendous race in the men's 3k.
Lagat and Gebremeskel battling over the final lap. Gebremeskel just got him but Lagat was impressive. 24.9 for Gebremeskel .
Lagat at age 40 has still got a crazy kick. Amazing run for a 40 year old.
Daddy can still kick!!!
i think they said that was like a 13 second WR for lagat. nice.
Great race. Wish it was faster but o well. Lagat is amazing

His one mile split was 5 seconds faster than today's master mile winner.
