Dude can run sub 4 in his sleep, let us hope he stays healthy and gets a PR and some wins this year.
Yawn. Another mediocre result from another mediocre overhyped Oregon runner
Who the hell is that in fifth who nearly ghosted past Bayer? Baller who ever he is.

Mathew Clowes.
Is he still making $250,000 a year?

He runs for a religious school that operates a franchise in Oregon.

Not in the 1500. He ran a 3:30 a few years ago in a great summer for Wheating. That ship has sailed. Maybe a 3:35 though. Good Start

His brother, Santa, is a most generous gent.
Matthew Clowes runs for Concordia University ( Lutheran school in Portland OR -- 'franchised' there since 1905 -- NAIA). He is British, 25yo. 1500 PB is 3:44.14; best mile, 4:03.78 (indoor, OT). Also 1:49.77. All of those marks from 2014, so this mile was a significant PB for him.

Actually he has no brother. He is just a saint. He runs sub 4. He makes kids happy. He drinks milk and eats cookies. He kisses your mommy. He's actually not much of a saint at all. More of a rapscallion.
And one more less than mediocre post from a far less than mediocre poster. I guess there are still a few people out there that don't keep up. Does this guy even realize that Oregon and many of its runners have been winning championships and World medals on a regular basis?
