It is you who are being a dunce.
There is a difference between killing someone and murdering them. Once is justifiable under the law while the other is not.
Likewise, doing something illegal does not make one a criminal. A "criminal" is a legal declaration that is used once a legal process has been completed.
Analogously, the Patriots aren't "cheaters" (at least in the instant case) until they are shown to be cheaters. An athlete isn't a drug "cheat" until they have failed a test.
Understand?
There is SO much wrong with this post, and to the person Dennis was responding to.
Firstly, getting caught or not getting caught does not affect the legality of an action.
Regarding PEDs, the claim: "Technically yes its legal because they competed without punishment. In terms of what actually happens, it isn't illegal if you don't get caught." is simply incorrect.
If someone's action is illegal, whether he is punished or not has no bearing on the status of the action's legality.
Also, regarding Mundus Vult's post...
It seemed fairly clear to me that Dennis implied "murder" when he wrote "kill".
Next, your claim that killing is justifiable under the law is strange for a number of reasons.
One being that many people use "kill" in normal conversation synonymously with "murder."
Two, to say that killing is "justifiable under the law" is quite an assumption, i.e., self-defense.
There are many instances of someone ending someone else's life that are not justified under the law, but also are not murder, for example, hitting someone with your car and killing them, a patient dying in surgery due to a mistake by the surgeon, someone getting accidentally shot in a hunting accident, etc.
Additionally, the claim "doing something illegal does not make one a criminal" is wrong. That is exactly what a criminal is: one who commits a crime.
One who purposefully breaks a rule is a cheater. Getting caught or not getting caught is irrelevant to this being the case.
If someone took PEDs and compted, he does not need to test positive to be a drug cheat. That is an absurd claim.
