So what?

Yes the Ducks were impressive. Let's not forget they had three at under 4:05 in the mile race, and two of them at 4:00 and 4:01.

What is the boys Hs indoor 3k record? I remember fernie and lukies outdoor 2 mile record breaking. Alistair craigg has the indoor 3k collegiate mark in some ridic time right? Anyone got an all time list, with home borns, oversize track and stipulations listed, for reference? Getting 7:52 and under every winter seems to be a trend of recent (past 6 years) for the top collegiates.
7:35 to 7:30 = not impressed? "Only noteworthy." Poster must have been listening to Shania Twain.

Best obscure reference used on letsrun of all time.
"So what?"?
Are you mentally deficient, or what. Oregon just had three relatively unknown milers place themselves in the Indoor top 10 of all US Collegiate runners for this season, and your comment is "So what?". I think you have a lot to learn.

exactly my point, so fvcking what. Oregon is a bunch of overrated dopers and cheaters. I can't wait till their whole program gets exposed for being a bunch of frauds.
The "is that impressive for a Kenyan " stuff is starting to sound stupid
7:49 winning easily on back end of a 4:00-4:01 1600 the night before for any 21 year old is good enough in January
Guys who train just for the mile had trouble breaking 4 at NB Games
Really, it sounds so stupid after a while, he won DMR by over 4 secs and 3K by 4-5 probably all is last 500M
If you don;t like him for the fact that he is not American born fine..I do not remember the same stupid stuff regarding Lalang, LOMONG, and others though.

I can't wait until one of those guys goes to Chattanooga for a race and stops by to knock you the fvck out.
Does this eHarmony doper really live in Chatanooga? I'm nearby, and I can assure you that I'd love to fill in for anyone who would like to show him the way out. How would I recognize him if I saw him at a race?

Not an Oregon fan, but I'm super impressed. 3 guys at 13.45, and 3 guys sub 7.55. That's amazing."
"I'm not impressed, or unimpressed for that matter. It's no secret - they recruit tons of fast runners, and lots of fast runners want to go to U of Oregon. It's not like they are turning high school failures into studs. They just have a lot of fast people on the team. Being impressed by them is like if you were to get all of the MLB all-star team on one team the next season, and then being impressed when they won a bunch of games."
-only on letsrun...home of the angst riddled armchair know it alls.

Kenyan 18 year olds are runniing 7:30 just because he runs for some American college does not change what it is. I don't care where he is born and good luck to him but I doubt you are going to report some Kenyan running 7:49 at home whatever he did the day before.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
