I think the guy who punched haile as he gets outkicked is the winner.
Did anyone else mention this one?

I've seen this photo often on LRC. What's the story? Who is it a show did he finish?
I imagine he was having a good run to this point and is just trying to finish out to get qualifier or something.

I think I saw this guy on the Walking Dead.
Not sure about these slow people giving people the finger because they are getting passed. I sort of thought "running on hate" implied dominating, silencing critics, etc. Webb actually sort of qualified. And the Swedish guy that didn't want to stop and lose time.
I'd go with this guy... Though I think he generally ran with pure passion.

I was curious to see whether or not any of y'all have any pictures in which it is fairly obvious that you are running on hate.
Here's mine:

How far can you throw the Discus on pure hate?
Swimming on pure hate is another option:

Jessica Hardy is still fuming.
Four years after her energy-drink sponsor allegedly spiked Hardy with a banned substance, disqualifying her from the 2008 Olympics, Hardy is still swimmingangry. When others reminisce about medals they won in Beijing, her fury grows.
"I hear about (those medals) all the time," says Hardy, enraged at the thought of someone else wearing the gold and silver medals she believes she would have won in Beijing.
Is angry any way to swim?
Jim Wood thinks so. If an athlete can maintain control of form, argues Wood, the former president of USA Swimming, then anger can be converted into high-speed fuel.
But Hardy herself is convinced that anger will hurt her cause. To free herself of negative thoughts and emotions that she says create debilitating toxins, she has hired psychologists to put her through drills. "When my muscles get that toxin it is harder to swim," she says.

Here is a recent story on the defecating runner.
http://newsfeed.gawker.com/what-happened-to-the-runner-who-shit-himself-during-a-h-1681442684/+barryap"Mickael Ekvall seems to have gotten over it, though. The runner who was once saddled with the nickname "bajsmannen" ("poop man") finished that 2008 race, the Göteborg half-marathon, in 21st place. In a post-race interview, a reporter asked him, "Did you ever consider stopping to clean off?"
"No, I'd lose time," he explained, "If you quit once, it's easy to do it again and again and again. It becomes a habit." "
"The poop man, now 25 years old, has accomplished quite a bit since then. He ran the same race the following year, placing 9th. He went on to set a Swedish national record at the Copenhagen half-marathon in 2014, and represented Sweden at the European Athletic Championships."
He has run 13:51 / 28:48 / 1:02:28 all in 2014. So I would say he got the last laugh.
All of these pictures show determination, anguish, even anger. But none are hate. Here is hate, in the event where hate is pure:

Did that escaped gorilla ever catch Aman?
You can see by Aman's expression he is running on fear in addition to hate. When you're really scared that can give you an edge.
