Pats cheated. If they had caught this it would have been a closer game.

No. The Colts would have needed a deflated ball to score another touchdown.

Sounds like a bunch of jealous sore losers to me.
As much as I like runners from Washington State. (go marathon maniacs) I hope the PATS do the same thing to the Sea Hawks ....crush'em
Guess I should register this name or use a registered name.
That Star on the other thread wasn't this Star on this thread.
I'm the Eagles fan.
This deflated ball thing is just something to talk about while we wait two weeks for the next game.
As far as Russell Wilson - I don't know.
He needs to be thankful for Marshawn Lynch.
He went crazy at the end of that game.
Wilson had a great throw in OT.
The Patriots have a culture of cheating. With the stuff they keep getting caught doing, it's reasonable to ask, "what else are they doing, that hasn't been caught yet"?
Not that it matters. They stole superbowls already, and the commissioner destroyed the evidence. Nothing will get in the way of the hype and all the sweet, sweet cash you suckers keep giving these creeps.

Please explain the "cheating" and the "stolen" super bowls with examples. I'm not a fan or a hater, I'm just really excited to see what you think you come up with.
It's only cheating if you get caught.
The classic example is Diego Maradona's "hand of God goal," for Argentina v. England in 1986.
I don't understand why this is a thread on a running website...especially because nobody cares. Patriots are going to the superbowl and clearly some people are sore losers about it
"underinflated footballs"??!!!! HaHaHaHa
Do I think it's possible the Patriots actually sought an advantage by underinflating footballs? YES
Do I think that if they did it had any affect on the outcome of the AFC Championship game? NO
The problem is that this is an organization known to have broken the rules in the past (SPYGATE!) so if it turns out that they were breaking the rules again it makes you wonder what else they are doing/have done but didn't get caught!
A blemish on an otherwise stellar legacy.

Good point. The Patriots are the only team in the NFL to ever film the other team's defensive signals and they are also the only team to ever break a rule.
I mean it would be different if other teams did things like interfere with a player under contract, establish a bounty system for hurting other players, fail to report injuries on their team or violate the CBA.
But nope, it is just the Patriots out there breaking the rules to win at all cost.

Here ya go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_National_Football_League_videotaping_controversyThe league doesn't levy those kinds of penalties every day. The fact that the league offices destroyed all of the video sure makes it seem like whatever was on them was very definitive evidence of the kind of cheating that would have put the integrity of superbowl outcomes, and therefore the integrity of the entire league, at risk.
The sports media doesn't much care, they know who pays for their lunches too. As a big fan of the NFL, I guess I don't care much either ... I just felt a lot better before the Belichicks and Ray Rices of the league became its moral center.
Why didn't the colts have more interceptions if the "deflated" balls are easy to catch?
Haha I knew if I threw out the bait I would get someone to reference the video tape "scandal".
Literally every team did this. Coaches such as jimmy Johnson have come out and acknowledged that yes it was common practice. Additionally, all the pats did was film from a different area of the stadium than they were allowed to. Obviously I didn't help because they went 16-0 and are now going to their 3rd super bowl since.
Belicheat! Always looking for an edge
This is why each team provides their own balls. Each football has been worn, scoured, soaked, dried and used in practice. The quarterback notes which balls he likes the feel of and those get set aside to be game balls. At this point they don't feel like a fresh out of the box ball.
Just out of curiousity,
wasn't the ball used by both teams?
In other words, why is it that the Patriots had undue advantage and not the Colts?
What am I missing?
May be it's because I grew up playing the other type of football.
The patriots and their fans always make arguments such as, "Our record has been better after Spy Gate", or "We would have beaten them any way".
That is like saying Roger Clemens was a Hall of Famer before he began to juice or Lance Armstrong was a TdF champion before he doped.
Bottom line, if it does not help you you would not cheat.
After watching the game film, I think I understand it now.
The Patriots under inflated the ball so that it wouldn't bounce as far off of Joshua Cribb's face mask, making it easier to recover.
The only other explanation that I can think of is that since the Patriots crushed the Colts for the past 4 games by running the ball with a running back that some other team kicked to the curb, they decided to let air out of the ball so that Luck would have a chance of keeping it close. Oops. Maybe next time they should just play 10 a side.
