my feeling is that 400 guys don't do enough mileage, except kirani, who conversely needs to probably drop some in order to accomodate more speedwork to get to 43.5
however, he may just change nothing & just let natural maturation shave a tenth or so off his pb every year until mid-20s
at 43.74 now, that shoud win next 3 majors, seeing as lashawn is no spring chicken
as for 800, i can only offer advice for kenyans :
their endurance is more than good enough, but many look like a 98lb weakling woud kick sand in their face !
alfred yego was puniest 800 guy i ever saw & he ran 1'42.6 & a gold !!!
they need a serious weight-training program & they shoud be looking at a 1% improvement for the tier below Rudy & even he looks pretty anorexic & coud look for 1/2 % improvement
