So I have a 9:30 3200m pr this season but only have a 4:37 1600m pr. This doesn't add up. All the guys I beat in the 3200 beat me by 7 to 10 seconds in the 1600. Can someone explain?

What do you run for 400 or 800? Maybe you have more speed and less endurance than your rivals.
this makes NO sense ^

800m - 2:06
400m - 59
Pure 10000m collegiate runner, post collegiate marathoner. You've got sub 30 potential. Your 800 and 1600 line up almost perfectly.

*Your
try to be a little more agressive the first lap (66flat) then settle the next 2 laps (68,5 x 2). with that strenght i'm sure you can close in 67 for a 4:30.
good tip: Try to race some 800m in order to lower that time to a 2 04 or so your speed is obviously inferior to your endurance. 300m repeats work very well too.

Thanks, how do you know they line up almost perfectly?
Because you're not a real man.
You do not have a lot of natural speed. You are clearly fit, strong.
Develop your speed. Run a bunch of 800s as fast as you can stand with about 3 - 4 minutes between each. It won't make you a sprinter, but it will improve your mile time.
Additionally, run a 10 @ 200 workout with 200 jog between. Start slowish and work up the pace. Focus on running fast and relaxed. You'll get faster.
After the above, try 3 @ 600 fast. Again, the first repeat is slower. Take 4-5 minutes between. This is an 800 workout, and it will destroy you and make you able to kick like a demon in a mile race. Good luck.
I was the opposite. I could run 4:30.7 over a mile in high school, but my best 2 mile was only 10:04.8.
My guess is you overstride (foot makes contact with ground in front of the knee) and you have poor hip extension. You need to learn how to run fast efficiently.

Not to brag, but I was awarded best running form 3 times in a row... lmao jk not actually but I'm pretty sure my form is fine dude, My cadence is high and have a mid-foot strike.

Ha, that might describe me now, but once upon a time I had some success as a competitive runner. The secret to running fast, besides putting in the miles, is to use hip extension and not over-stride. Not rocket science.

Talking about your cadence and midfooting striking makes me think you don't really know whether you have good form or not.
That said. I don't know how you managed to run 4:30 with only 59 speed. I guess that your endurance is better than your speed. Why did you not come to this conclusion yourself? Seems obvious.

Then why can't you run 400 in low 50s?

Even though you have lackluster speed you should be able to run under 4:30 given your 800 meter time. My guess is that you have not had an 1600 meter race in which you "put it all together"
