18 year old senior male here. Training hard this winter offseason so far on an indoor 174 meter track. I want to break 2:00 for the 800 this outdoor season, and ultimately run 1:58.xx for the school record by May 23rd, 2015. Last season I left off from a 2:03.10 PR at State Track, improving from 2:12.09 my sophomore year. Here's my problem: I'm kinda of a bich and I did go out in 60 and came back in 63 for my state meet race, so what would you sub-2 guys go out in? I have a 53.10 open 400 PR and now I realize that I gotta push it this season if I wanna run 1:58.xx. I do have a better endurance base now than I did last track season since I actually ran all summer with 40mpw weeks and got a 5k PR of 17:36 by over a minute from junior year XC. Any help on splitting in my 800 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
