Up for Renato ! Could you please tell us about how the training is going with BEKELE ? And, if you have time, we would be VERY MUCH interested if you could post the details of his training for Dubai marathon since you've started to work together...
Why, in a million years, would Coach Canova help this board when the brojos allow ridiculous and insulting statements to constantly be made about him?
Maybe because those who analyse Renato's training system and all the information he very kindly post here, and exchange quietly with him on training issues, are not the same people as the stupid trolls who made him loose his time with their provocations.
18 days remaining!
Obviously coach Canova will not comment or post any details about Bekele's training before Dubai's marathon. Hope he'll do it after the event.
'canova will be terrified to comment when he sees geoffreys's speed work for '11 new york M v kennster's '04/05 shape'
So why does he not set a track WR as part of his marathon prep?
I thought you agreed than runners have different abilities at different distances.
Yes it is a pity indeed that coach Canova has to spend all this time answering the stupid trolls about doping allegations, instead of talking about training. Coach Canova's posts about training are the only reason I'm still coming regularly on this forum, and I guess I'm not the only one in this situation. I've learned so much reading his posts. I hope coach Canova could come back to training discussions and tell us more about the training of Kenenisa, maybe after Dubai marathon.
So true!
I'm in the exact same situation, just coming here to check Canova's posts.
Same for me...
if bekele does not improve at all, he'll run a minute faster on this super fast course.
so if he improves a minute, which is within reason, he goes 203.
203 high should be the logical bet.
by the same token, if bekele runs 205 again, he's gone a bit backwards.
