Season is ending too late............DECEMBER 6?
If you're going to go that late then have the meet in San Diego or Oregon every year like the Nike and Footlocker races..........great locations something for the runners to look forward to each year.

A little late but the run across the ped bridge down to the falls is nice.
Some of my favorite HS and college XC races were the ones with crazy mud, rain, snow. Wouldn't change those experiences for anything. Shame these kids might not get the same experience.
Where is NCAA Live Feed at 11:15am ET???????????????
I thought DI in TH was shortened last year only because the start area was extra muddy, in some areas and not in other area giving an unfair advantage t some runners. If the "finger" is extra wet, and it doesn't give any competitor an advantage over another competitor, make them all run it.

Thanks for the info on that route - I ended up having to get to the course earlier to deal with some issues caused by the rain overnight and didn't get a run in, but will keep that route in mind for future trips.
Glad to see the meet went well - the athletes still had plenty of opportunity to play in the mud that's for sure...so I think they'll still have memorable stories to tell on LetsRun in 2035...

Don't comment if you have zero clue what you're talking about. It's a festival year in D2. That means that XC, Volleyball, Soccer and Field Hockey all have their championships in the same city at the same time.
Baby Nationals!!!
They should re-name it cross golf course
Such a dumb course. They need to make it super hilly like Kenosha Wisconsin or extremely spectator friendly.

At some point you cross from XC race to Tough Mudder if no action is taken. I think you protect the integrity of the race at some point so it does not become a complete joke. You want to identify the fastest runners, we measure ourselves in foot races from point a to point b not in circus side show competitions.
Garbage - then have it on thje track or road - it is suppposed to be a race across the natural countryside not some manicured golf course.
Steve Ovett was 4th over 9 miles of hilly mud and Steve Cram did the national too. Now they have cut it to 6 miles in the uk are our runners doing any better!

I didn't see any flags while I was there.
I would say the course was challenging enough since sub 14 minute 5kers didn't run faster than 5 minute pace.
