Not in this case. The OP used it correctly. "Who" is the subject of a dependent clause.
No. "Whom" is the object of the clause.
Subject: You
Verb: Want
Object: Whom (to win)
Would you say, "Do you want she to win?"

As an Oregon kid, I gotta root for Maton
As a florida native I am rooting for Osterberg

I'd like to see Dressel, Fisher, Hunter, Maton and Tamagno together on the last big downhill. Dressel takes off wildly, the others stay right with him. Dressel trips in front and all five go down. Whoever (whomever? whichever? whatever!) gets up and charges on to win is who I want to see take it. Then they have a royal rumble WWF style brawl after the finish. Total mayhem. And the news would eat it up. XC would be king for a day.
That would be really dope. But yeah, I think that will be the front group nearing the finish line. But I could see Ostberg pulling a 2013 Blair "Savage" Hurlock and leading up the big hill. They seem like similar runners. But this year's field is presumably deeper.
Ostberg is better than Hurlock

And Fisher is better than them all.

I too want Dressel to win, he seems to only get hate around here and it'd be great to shut all these trolls up.
Another vote for Thomas Pollard.
AMARI OH MY GOD
Coming from NH, I must place my hopes in the one, the only, MoskProphet97.
Thomas Pollard. There is not a nicer guy on the planet than Thomas. He is a total class act individual.

That's probably because he's ignorant, and does quite a few things worth facepalming over.

Hes a high school kid for goddsakes
Thomas Pollard
So what if he's in high school? If he isn't already 18 then he will be in a few months, he is old enough to be held accountable for his actions.bruh das me wrote:

I already admitted my error last page, but this is not quite correct either. The subject is You, the Verb is Want, but the direct object is the infinitive phrase "to see whom win Footlocker." Whom is the object of the phrase. I was incorrectly thinking "who win Footlocker" was a dependent clause (with who as the subject), but it is not. I again apologize for my sins.

Conner Mantz hands down.
I wasn't going to comment on this thread until I saw your post with my name in it. LOL. Ok, of course I would like Conner Mantz to win it. Utah high school runner, just like I was. He's a good, smart kid, and he lives where in Smithfield, Utah, where I lived for a few years as a boy. He would be a very deserving winner. Of course he's an underdog, and I like underdogs who beat the odds and win.
My all-time favorite Footlocker champion is Matt Withrow. Another underdog who beat the odds.
Good luck to Conner.
