Also, I took a look at the qualifying tally since they went into this Preliminary Round format in 2009, the total number of Ivy qualifiers has increased.
On HTC:
2009 - 23 qualifiers (final year of Regional format)
2010 - 23 individual qualifiers (1 double); (1st year of Preliminary format)
2011 - 18 individuals (2 doubles), 1 relay qualifiers;
2012 - 21 individual undergraduates and 1 graduate qualifiers;
2013 - 27 individual undergraduates (1 double), 2 relays, and 2 graduate qualifiers (for a total of 32 entries);
2014 - 31 undergraduates (1 double) and 3 graduates qualifiers (for a total of 35 entries).
