Does he still coach at Willamette? Biggest power-tripper I have ever heard of.

...and because I know some of you will have NO idea what I'm talking about unless I correct my typo, that's "autobiography".
I think you're the only guy that bought his book.
bump, also curious
I just read the book. After doing some researching, I think it's Matt McGurik.
He is still the coach and a pretty good one although his attitude has stifled many talented runners and turns off quite a few recruits. If he had embraced Nick and handled him and others better he would have no doubt scored many more top recruits. Instead he is left unable to enjoy having a former athlete become one of America's all-time greats in the 800. How many D3 coaches can say they have had a Worlds medalist? Very few so it just makes it that much more painful.

Buy a box of Nicky Gum and they throw in a free book.
Bump. He made it sound in the book like McGuirk and "Kendrick" were two different people but I've been having trouble finding any info online. Anyone got the scoop?
Funny how the OP makes a mistake, then calls upon the expertise of other commenters here, and then insults them on the basis, again, of his own mistake. Interesting social skills.
We know exactly who it is
Lamar, Nick's a student of the streets.
