Current salary: $822,000

Was earning $292K/year at the time I retired early at age 52 after 30 years in real estate. Never worked more than 45 hours/week in my entire career; never more than 35/week during the last 15 years.
Aside from the fun and the opportunity to run collegiately, college was a waste of time. Graduated with a BS in English and a minor in social studies.

I'm a student right now. HS: 3.5 and college 3.6
I'm track to get a public acc job but the hours seem miserable (60-80 a week) for a salaried position. Kinda sad I won't be able to focus on training and improve post collegiately. I know I can fit it in but it would be at the expense of being social and having evenings open. Working 8am to 7pm or worse seems shitty. Good secured salary though
Wtf do I do

It all depends on your goals and what you are willing to sacrifice. I am happy with the choices I made, but it isn't for everyone. However, almost everyone I know in an executive type position works at least 60-80 hours/week - no matter what profession. Good luck.
Went to school in the UK so GPA thing doesn't apply. Basically, I failed. Didn't go to college. Salary $230K, dependent on size of bonus. Never more than $250K. age 50.

I work more than most and make a lot. I make a lot of athletes hurt more than they knew they could and make a lot of students think thoughts that would make their parents have seizures.

I make 13-14k right now...lol. Here is my outlook on that:
1) I just graduated 6 months ago
2) I am lazy...
3) I am still figuring some things about about myself and life in general
4) My cost of living is low.
All of these things put together basically mean that I am perfectly fine with my situation right now because I have not really actively pursued further employment, and I'm in a transitional stage in my life which would make having a full-time job really tough for me personally. Plus, despite how little I make, I have a great deal in terms of my rent, so that is low, and I live simply, so I'm not losing money or anything. Not making much, but I'm fine with my state of living at this point. Although of course I would be a little disturbed if I were still living like this in 2-3 years! :)
