With Bolt's present training focus, not a clue. I could see him running anywhere between 15:20 and 20:15. However, if he were to take up recreational jogging, even just a couple times a week, after he hangs up the spikes, I'd bet loads that he'd run well under 18 very easily. I know a few former college sprinters (100/200 types) who now jog for their health and easily jog/run well under 18 in their local Turkey Trots and similar races with no distance-oriented training.
Dam it where is that guy who comes into every thread about Bolt to say he is too lazy and shiftless to run more than 600 feet at a time? Letting me down, man. What do you think I come here for?
400 m: 45.28 (Kingston 2007)[1]
calcs indicate 15.87 possible for track 5000m
Jeremy Wariner ran a 5k a few years back and posted on twitter that he ran 20:20

I decided to look it up. Not as impressive as I remembered, but still kinda cool.

How do you know he is a quality athlete? Has he demonstrated anything other than forward sprinting ability? Or, more relevant, has he demonstrated anything that would indicate 5k ability?
Has OP?
18:08 does not require ability.
Flo Jo trained for 5 km and ran only 20:30.

Why do you post garbage like this?
People on this thread are so f*****g stupid.
Why not ask him for his 5k time? He's on twitter and would probably answer, right?

No. High class trolling.

He's said he was a "decent" soccer player and cricketer.
When the GOAT in one thing says he was "decent" at something, it means better than you could ever dream of.
I would bet on Bolt being able to get past three letsrunners with a soccer ball, or anything else he wanted.
