The difference is they 100% know he did it
Seems like nowadays even with a smoking gun in your hand it seems hard to prove something

What I love about this whole thing is that every day people who are against guns use the argument that they are dangerous because you could accidentally shoot your significant other in your house thinking they are an intruder. Then when it allegedly happens for the first time in human history all those same people call BS on the guy because there is no way that is what actually happened.
I hope Reeva's family takes the matters into their own hands.

It can actually happen or it can be used as an excuse.
In either case it's either someone being trigger happy or irresponsible.
The Pistorius decision is ridiculous.

Only one of those is of someone who thought their wife was an intruder. And that one was a guy who was a 47 year old married to a 60 year old. My money is on him looking for a way out of that one.

Perhaps if he had thought of her as a woman and a human being and not as a "creature" (like a dog or a possession), he wouldn't have felt it his right to kill her...

I saw a not very good film last year called Beautiful Creatures, from the novel of the same name.
I suppose you would have gone to the movie expecting to see something resembling Bedtime for Bonzo or Planet of the Apes.
