How many times do we need to get an update from this same weather lady at Mile 1? UNREAL.

THey are showing families participating in races.
This is the critical juncture. They shouldn't be doing this.
What's going on with Kenny B?
Is bekele gone
Back to mile 1. Not much has changed in the past hour in terms of weather. But I'm going to keep talking for another 2 minutes
This is one of the most exciting weather reports I've seen in ages! Much better than Berlin's this year.
Not much to see here, so lets talk about the weather!
How about you show the end of the men's race you dick!

our runners are terrific and so to is our coverage of the marathon. LOL
Quote of the year
Are they doing this on purpose? Is there someone at NBC just laughing right now? This is un-f*ckingbelievable!
Update... it is still quiet at the one mile part of the course.
Now ALL 3 race cameras are out. We and the people at NBC are seeing nothing!
They are now using the helicopter camera.
Mile 19 4:50
Mile 20 4:40
Mile 21 4:41
Mile 22 4:42
Mile 23 4:43
When the weather just came back on, I just started laughing my ass off. It's like they are reading this thread and trying to piss us off!

I'm going to ask Carey P for next year. We'll pay for one guy and one woman to sit in the lead truck and just do a radio play by play of the whole thing.
Yesssss!!! This would be hugely appreciated, assuming you didn't go the Joanie school of screaching radio broadcast. How about do the same for Boston and NY? You could stream it live, insert a few 30 sec commercials and make some money off it, and it would still be 10x more interesting than NBCs coverage. Just...don't charge money for it.
Kipchoge, FTW
sub 2:04 at the finish, they are picking it up big time
coverage was so much better for marathons in the early 80's
Weird! Cameras turned off in Chicago when there's news about non-white non Americans.
I really hope Kipchoge wins it. What a great return to relevance he's had.
That being said, memo to Craig Virgin (is that him?), a kick doesn't come down to the fastest man but rather who has the most left.
Shame about Kenny B. One of the few useful things the coverage noted was Kenny may have a cold or something else.
Haha that one announcer cannot figure out how to say Kipchoge. Slaughters it every time
Looks like the info here on kipchoges current shape was accurate
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
