Matt Cooke, is that you?
Matt Cooke, is that you?
Matt Cooke would have signed his name in big letters ala John Hancock.

No, not Matt Cooke. He just retired from jamis a few weeks ago.
A bit draconian but Astana should get a team ban. Nibali win is now tainted (it always was in my book) given that teamates have tested positive including a one domestique in the TDF. All the other 8 riders could test positive but Nibali could still keep his victory which is complete BS.
Astana has been constantly involved in scandals since itself inception after operation Puerto. A convicted doper pushed for Astana to come in and sponsor the team. He is now the team manager. Johan Brunyeel was director sportif and we all know what team management experience he had.
He signed Contador who already had a positive test at that stage and adds Armstrong to the team as well. In the TDF 2009, When Contador made that attack on lance, Wiggins and the Schlecks, His power output at FTP was measured at roughly 480 watts which in watts per kilo rate him higher than Lance's attack on Sesstriere. It would also give him a rough Vo2 max of 98. He still has that tour win on his record because he didn't test positive. He tested positive in 2010.
And then we have Nibali who strongly disagrees with having power meters removed from racing. His suspect performances in the Giro last year and his riding on the edge of known physiological limits during this years tour.
And then we have SKY, when they were setup in 2010, promises were made about their ethics. They said they wouldn't use any doctors with a background in Cycling and they wouldn't hire any doctor from outside the UK. In 2011, they signed a Belgian doctor called Geert Linders who has been heavily implicated in doping. They also promised that they would never let a rider race using a TUE, Chris Froome has rode twice while using a TUE in his time with SKY. We also have the matter of his Bilzharia which is a blood parasite that feeds on red blood cells. A nice excuse that could be used to cover a rise in haemocrite. He has also used tramadol during races while it was legal but really towing the line on ethics.
Then, two team SKY riders are pulled from racing after abnormal blood values are found on their BP.
Then you have Saxo Tinkoff. Contador, enough said.
"All of this is nonsense", you aren't anonymous. You've given enough clues that anyone who wants to do a little research will be able to figure out who you are.
Dopers ARE stealing from you. Mainly they are stealing opportunities from you, not money. Who really does know? Well for one, you do. Two, I know that. Three, so does everyone else that has ridden at the NRC level for several plus years.
There are days where I regret not trying EPO. The lost opportunities. Essentially no testing. Nobody would have known. It wouldn't have catapulted me to the ProConti or ProTour level where testing would be a concern either, as I was never tactically good enough. Although, that's where the lost opportunities comes back in. Maybe with them my tactical prowess would have been enough to move up another rung, and then dependence on the drugs is very real. That I do NOT regret!
