You aren't the only one. The middle-class has just been decimated since the bush era. As a result college grads(especially people who didn't major in hard sciences) have had difficulty getting jobs. They are calling this the "boomerang" generation as it's getting so common for people to move back home with parents for years after college. College students are forced to take lower-paying jobs, then these lower paying jobs are taken away from people who didn't go to college. Yeah, it's tough out there.
I didn't get a job for almost a year after graduating. I had really terrible jobs for a while. I finally found something that enable me to move out on my own, finally got married. THe only thing is. I am not incredibly fulfilled by my job. I'm not excited about it. I'm not passionate about it. I'm not proud of the work I do. I'm not ashamed but I wish I took time. Maybe stayed at the parents house longer and worked an internship. Right now, you are in a good place actually. Interships are the key to getting great jobs doing things that actually interest you. Even though I'm almost 30, I do volunteer work with this organization and I wish I didn't have as much responsibility cause I'd quit my job, take a HUGE paycut and intern with this organization because I'd LOVE working for them.
So don't feel bad about your situation. See how it can actually be a good thing and start thinking of what to do next.
