Wish I was there, was in town 3 weeks ago but alas, not now.
Haven't seen a race there since John Treacy (Providence) winning New Englands in '77 over 5 miles.
Haven't run there since '75, high school Northeastern Invitational (won by then Junior year Salazar, about 15:45 5K)
Battle in Beantown this Friday (D1 XC)

Yep, you got it: 2 mile around 10:10. Still a huge pack. pic.twitter.com/3Zx7tJFrIn -
It's a great course. Nothing compares to flying down bear cage hill at the MA state meet

I loved that course as a coach as you actually saw the guys several times.
Providence goes to the front around 2.5 miles pic.twitter.com/HDOM8dJLEO
Two Cornell guys up in the top 10 including MA native David Melly!!! -
Oregon and Syracuse both well-positioned up front. Jenkins and Ches leading. pic.twitter.com/0K4x6O5tjq
Does anyone think Cheserek might lose on purpose to take the pressure off?? -

Oregon 1-2. They will win meet handily. Slow time. 24:20 approx pic.twitter.com/vrR5bHyvVJ -
Seriously? Lose on purpose?
The only way Cheserek does not win every race he is in, is if he lays off the gas.
That doesn't take any pressure off at all, what an inane comment.
No one thinks anyone else is not even remotely the favorite, I don;t care if he was 5th. -

Que?
Anyway, Ches typically doesn't do a lot in terms of pushing the pace in races. Not surprised to see him lag back again here. -
The only way Lalang (wait) Kithuka (oops) Cheserek does not win every race he is in is if he lays off the gas.
Ed looks unbeatable. I won\'t bet on his getting beat. But with that said, so did Lawai and Kennedy during their runs. There\'s always a bad day. There\'s always somebody else\'s first good day.
So while today\'s smart money is on Cheserek to win anything he races, the smarter money is on an upset happening at some point. -
Any further results?

You guys knew what I meant and I never thought Kithuka was unbeatable ever.
lalang pretty much was, when he was not hurt or multi raced in short time period -

5. Dartmouth 142
6. Harvard 177
7. Columbia 182
8. Cornell 211
Shocking that Harvard beat Columbia. Did Wood leave as he left the cupboard bare or was this an underperformance for Columbia?
Looks like Heps will be between Princeton and Dartmouth unless Penn/Yale pull a shocker. -
Jake Leingang? wow, not even close to being a factor?
Where is Elkaim, and why or how isn;t he ever in their top 4? -
Nice job by Fordham, finishing in the top ten.

I know everyone will be focused on Oregon but I gotta give a shout out to Chris Fox and Brian Bell and Syracuse. The depth on their team is pretty incredible. The clearly don't get the total stud recruits and have the low stick up front that like Oregon but Syracuse's #9 in this meet was 25th.
So Syracuse has 9 in before
Oregon has 7.
Providence has 5.
Georgetown has 4.
Dartmouth has 2.
Harvard has 2.
Columbia has 2.
Cornell has 1.
Remarkable.
