Welcome to real life. Pretty people get away with more stuff. Well stacked women show cleavage when they get pulled over, and get no ticket, but you do, every time.
That is reality. Life is NOT fair.
If the star runner was a leader, he would have stood up for you. He would have told the coach that it was the whole team, and that you are all guilty. The star runner threw you under the bus by not saying anything.
It is one thing if someone over 18 gets booze for minor. then a coach would have grounds to take it out on that adult. But you were all under age, and the coach should not have played favorites.
From this entire scenario, I can make the following assumptions. You were not one of the better runners. The star runner was selfish. The coach played favorites. The fact that you got away with a party with this much alcohol and not tragedies, may give you some consideration and thankfulness. And, maybe you should look at what happened as a way of saying that you really did not get away with it, as you have said.
