Zane Robertson with another great race.

Bumbalough lapped? Ouch
Nice one Bumbalough. Maybe if those Schumacher guys would race more than twice a year they would know how to run championships.

If you are around 1,30 after the winner it´s not a question of "knowing how to run". Either he got injured during the race or he´s completely out of shape.

I didn't see that but I did see him drop back less than halfway in.
54.92 last lap for Koech to pick up an easy $30,000.
Glad the 5000 was first as it was the worst distance race at World Athletics on the men's side. The other ones are stacked.

Ajee ran a good race in 2nd considering she hasn't been at her best at the end of this season.
Much better race for Ajee to end the season.
Lukka took it out quick in 27 seconds and then through 400 in 57.9.
On the backstretch it was Sum and Wilson pulling away from everyone.
Ajee hit the homestrech in front but the Sum went by hard with about 80m to go. It was all over.
Ajee could have broken 2:00 if she went hard all the way in but got 2nd nonetheless and $15,000. Should be #2 ranked at the end of the year with Sum #1.
Great race for Sum. This was her 2nd fastest 800 of the year. She can thank Lukka for taking it out so hard.

And what a crowd. Could be as many as 800 people on hand to watch this epic competition.
The African Champs were there as well. Truly a joke that no one is there.
This would be a perfect event for Eugene to host.
McCorory with a sub 50 clocking in the 400.
That leaveds her with 3 sub 50s this year, most in the world.
Merritt comes from behind to win the 400.
The top dogs are coming out on top today.

What I don't get is they had a lot bigger crowd when they hosted an IAAF challenge meet earlier this year:

Don't know how the points system works but maybe he knew Cruz dropped out and stayed in the race to make sure he got points for 7th
Wow, really good start for Lemaitre... that's unlike him.
36.8 last 300???
50.09 final lap. Good god.
That was a great 1500. We see how fast these guys can sprint when there aren't rabbits.
36.8 the last 300 as you said.
50.09 the final lap.
It was Souleiman and Kiprop the entire final lap.
Souleiman was too good. Kiprop however went from last to first from 450 to 400 to go. Souleiman is too good to waste energy doing that.

Bingo. Great idea.
Interesting mix of some truly pathetic results for U.S. (Bumbi, Manzano, Tinsley, some of the fields) with others that are pretty good (McCorory, Lewis-Smallwood).

Glad to see the identical twins agree!
But hey, that idea hadn't occurred to me and I agree too.
For the record, I am not now, nor have I ever been, a BroJo.
Yeah, as long as you don't schedule it during an Oregon home football game like today would have been...
