Actually EPO does nothing for you unless you race with it.

I seriously doubt she is pregnant.
People starting those rumors are just trolling.
Huh. Really?
Thanks for that. Otherwise, we here in lala land would've believed everything we have read on these threads.
Hey, they landed on the moon!!
So she was not in shape for Stockholm but was for Zurich? OK.
Well, see you next year. 5th ave is a dog and pony show IMO, may as well skip that too.

Honestly, it was probably mental shape as much as anything. It is one thing to go up against junior talent, where she knows she is the best. It is another thing entirely to line up on a Diamond League starting line.
All these conspiracy theories are getting ridiculous. The NOP is not doping. Mary Cain is not doping. She skipped the Zurich meet because of class - duh. Anyone with half a brain could have looked at the school's website to figure out when classes started.
Sometimes these boards are great for finding out information before it is "public", but other times, it is just useless and clearly incorrect rumors (basically everything regarding NOP).
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I just think going incommunicado not helping anything.
Funny that Cain didn't run 5th Ave last year while living a short drive away but will be running it this year while living about 3000 miles away.
She doesn't want to miss school? What? Why doesn't she just run and not go to school? Her HS is a pipeline to the Ivies, Portland U is at the same level as her HS.
Thanks for some actual news.
Stanford doesn't start for a while still, a much better choice for a top student like herself who wants to race on the European circuit, and then she'd still have strong training partners. Reed College is an elite liberal arts college in the Portland area with a start date of September 2. She would have missed some orientation and that's it, and she would have been challenged academically with great profs and fellow students in small classes. Why U Port?

Could it be that she wasn't invited? Just asking.

she had to be in portland for workouts. reed is a whacked out place - great for some, certainly not for everyone. U Port is more mainstream

How would she have strong training partners at Stanford? She's over 10 seconds faster than their best 1500m runner.
