I don't know who peed in your cereal, but I didn't say anything about cheering for any non-white simply because they are non-white. In fact, no one in this thread mentioned that at all and I would support that either, because that too is racism. The term "Great White Hope" which was used in the opening of this thread and used commonly in running circles is blatant racism. If you don't think so, that maybe you should take a soc class. (btw, i'm a white, conservative, military veteran, right wing crazy, according to all you liberals. But I still can see racism, at it goes both ways.)

To say something related to this thread I think this race was quite amazing. The 600 in 75 set this race up. We may see some sub 1:42s this summer if Rudisha keeps setting them up. We know Amos can do it and Rudisha might be able to with a couple more races under his belt.
