AlSal is just making himself look stupid for entering a sub-standard athlete into the DL.

AlSal loves Hasay as much as he loves Erdman....
I wonder how long until she is culled like Erdman...
Let's be realistic.
Jordan Hasay is not competitive in any distance in the world stage.
She will place last or close to last in any distance when competing with the best in the world.
She should run in some easier meets. Her coach is doing her a disservice by sending her to get her confidence shattered
she needs this dose of reality. Too many years of clown college adulation. A few more performances of getting multi-lapped like she did in Austin should do the trick.

^^ Jordan has been thumped too many times for it to affect her any more. It won't be long until she joins shalane and kara in the pre-race yakking championships. She'll be "fvcking sh_t up" right until the starting gun.
Wow, lots of hate for JH on this thread…I bet she could still kick all your sorry asses.
No hate here but she was in over her head and that seemed apparent before they even started.
My prs are compatible with hers, 1500 a little better but a fair amount faster in the 5000.

How is this comment relative to the discussion on why she shouldn't have been in the 5000m DL race?
Its not "hate for JH" its the fact her PR is not DL standard.

are you a woman?
are you a woman?[/quote]
Yes I am.
Remember when Jordan did that workout that was the best Al Sal had ever seen from a woman?
Meaningless.
Every interview JH does, she always makes reference to how well her workouts are going, and how her speed is coming. Is she just really terrible at racing?

POD lol
I like Hasay but her interviews are unbearable to watch. She is just not a dynamic speaker. All her interviews are the same.
So, why didn't she finish the race anyway? When exactly did she drop out?
I mean, Kim Conley finished, albeit in an awful time.
Was she just feeling absolutely awful after a super fast start, or realized she was probably not gonna be able to hang on even for a PR and just quit?
Unless I am missing something, no one has any idea why she stopped at this point. She doesn't have a history of DNF so it would seem that maybe she had an injury. Seems like we might want to give her the benefit of the doubt.

At what point did she bail?
I haven't seen anything definitive on when or how she dropped but I watched the race and didn't see any sign of her from around half way on, maybe before that. She has finished bad races before, so, without any other information, I'm inclined to think she had an injury.
On a guess I checked out her twitter feed.
From what she said no injury. I'm wondering if she went with the fast group and was baked partway through. Did she go out with them?
My guess is she was dropped off pack sooner than planned was spent and they saw no reason to gimp home in 15:30...
She needs to find a race where winning time is around 15:05 to 15:10...
