I hope Jordan runs sub-14:55 and inspires a new round of NOPers are dopers talk.

On the 6th page before the race even starts.
_x_ Gets DFL and tests positive and it is covered up

And the winner is:
_X_ No PR and DFL

Hasay proving again she doesn't belong in Diamond League races!! Dead last in her 1500m last week, would have been DFL today if not for dropping out. Really unfair she continues to take the spots of better runners in these races when she is a B-class runner AT BEST!

This exactly ^^^^
The whole "getting into DLs by association rather than PRs" is ridiculous.

Billy Mills would agree that we should never underestimate our potential...anyone's potential. Ask him. He'll tell you.
You changed the subject. You originally said that those who are saying Jordan doesn't belong in this race would've said the same about Mills in the Olympic race. That is categorically false.
Mills qualified for the olympics, so of course his entry is valid. Hasay in no way qualifies if she's not even top 10 US.
Did anyone see the race? What happened to her? Any splits, i mean 1k splits, not gymnastic splits for the camera.
A lot of morons on this thread, Douglas Burke.
and, as Betsy Saina proved today, there's probably a couple of Kenyan or Ethiopian runners out there who could have run 14:30s or 14:40s if given that spot Hasay took.
Im sure there plenty of Africans with faster times. The meet director builds his field with diversity to have interest , Jordan is recognized in Europe , she was 12th at the last world track champs giving international track credibility.
Leo to be honest didn't even get into the meet until two days prior , he finished at the back of the pack non competitive but added interest to the field.

There is something broken with the DL selection process when the OG 1500 silver medalist has to beg from entry for two months and is finally accepted two days before the meet. Hasay does not have even 5% of Manzano's competitive resume.
As for your comment that Manzano was "back of the pack" and "non-competitive" the guy just exceeded Jim Spivey's, Steve Scott's, and Steve Holman's 1500 PR's today. You probably are too new to the sport to know otherwise, but Spivey, Scott, and Holman tore things up in the 70-s, 80's, and 90's quite well.
beg *for* entry

So, really, by your logic, here is your Monaco DL field, ranked by twitter followers:
KATY PERRY. ...
Justin Bieber. ...
Taylor Swift. ...
Lady Gaga. ...
Britney Spears. ...
Rihanna.
Wait, is one of those not female? I did remove Obama and youtube from the list.
Lady Gaga.
And of course Jordan DNF'd.
AlSal, open question- how did Jordan get in this race Alberto- many would love to know? What was the criteria for putting her ahead of at least 2 dozen other runners with better 2014 SBs?
Could not possibly be coach reputation, money and/or Nike connections.
