She should care, because there isn't a 400m hurdle race in indoor track. And many elite 400hurdlers (Joey Woody), have ran amazing indoor 800m times.

Do you really think she cares about the 800?? Why would she give up the 400h? Think about it before you post.
just planting the seed.
maybe she reads this and has a curious thought.
Entertaining the idea that the "like 2%" claim for female improvement is true, a 2% increase would put her at 54.52, which would have been a world record up until about 1980, and would have won gold in the 1984 Olympic Games. "Too bad..."?
Why would she think about the 800? Why did Jenny Simpson think about the 1500 after setting the American record for the steeplechase? Why did Eunice Sum think about the 800 after running the short sprints? Because they had good coaches who could see their potential at that distance.
How about this for simple math on how good she really is?
She is not a good hurdler
She ran 55.xx, surely she can run 52 flat or close at 14?
At 15, she runs 55:00 in hurdles ? are you kidding me?
and probably will split 51 low as a 15 year old, I have seen her run, she is a horror show
anyone here heard of kyra Constantine?. canadian girl. as a 9th grader last year ran 55. this year 10th grade she went 54:43. http://www.all-athletics.com/node/771766 . girls are gettin fast eh.

Too bad girls improve like 2% from age 14 to adult, if they're lucky enough to imrpove at all
Go look in the mirror and ask yourself "why am I this way?".
