Okay, I am totally new to this thread as I was here looking for Chicago results and info on Bobby Curtis. What's the deal with this lady? If she is walking, as it appears she has to be doing, why has not one person simply followed her from start to finish?

This is not a joke post, I am quite serious. Why? I don't live near the action zone, but I'd be happy to follow her if I did. There's not one person who could simply take a video camera and follow on a bike or go from every mile to every mile and video tape as she goes by? If she misses a mile, then you've got proof unless riding 50 yards back would work better.

Really, it doesn't seem that hard to do. My camcorder has a hard drive that goes 15 hours!!!!! I use 2 large batteries and recharge them when doing HUGE events...I record a lot.

Each runner is issued a newspaper at the race meeting and has their picture taken. That way we are sure that no one started more than a day early. The newspapers are part of the new and improved $1999.95 entry fee. Please note that the 2015 course is still a mystery and will likely not go within 90 miles of Bumwater due to the park service's travesty of requiring compliance with the permit issued.

Walking world record. Whatever. She had two records, and one was recently topped so now she has one left. Anyone can walk a marathon a day for 15-20 days straight or whatever and break that too. Yawn

None of her achievements are impressive or athletically significant. She has cheated to obtain everything she claims to have accomplished.

She will also never be allowed in any 100 mi ultra in this country I can pretty much guarantee nobody wants her associated with their events.

Only Kostman enjoys snuggling up to this woman's reputation....at the very expense of his own event. I dont get it
