These must be exciting "races" with 10 runners. And it's interesting that a lot of them round out right at 10 runners.

I TOTALLY AGREE @Media at her race!Actually, do the time math as well and you'll realize how she did it. Because PM & Thomas Zaide were 6am start wave, Darren Fortney was a 7am wave. It shows that PM caught up to Darren between Darwin (mile 91) and Lone Pine/HQ (mile 122) and this stretch, she checked in at just before midnight on Tuesday night of BW135. There's a reason why Darren didn't see her because PM did her cheating in the dark.Look at the last peoples to check-in times at Darwin and how they checked in at LP122. You have to admit, PM is totally correct when she said she passed a bunch of runners after Darwin/"...piece of cake" because it's easy to know who you're passing when you're relaxing inside a Dodge Caravan. That's why not many saw her pass them up on the way to LP122 in the dark.

The media were at her race this weekend watching her. At last report, she was "slow cooking" up an 8 hour marathon. Funny what happens to your race times when you cant cheat. Let's see if she gives herself a nice round 8:15:00.
for that matter, do these people exist? just threw a couple in athlinks and no race results...
A little jingle that hits oh so close to home for PM and her racing data. Runners 9 and 10 seem to be the small circles :-)

OK so 25.5 hours of fun this weekend for good ole' PM.
Let's put the pace into perspective shall we?
12 min per mile is a slow hobby jogger
15 min per mile is an aggressive walk
17 min per mile is a casual walk
17-19 min per mile is PM's pace this weekend in 3 events
20 min per mile is what ultra runners refer to as "the death march" which is a little like "zombies" I heard
So, for 25.5 hours over three days she is simply wandering around at a snails pace on an out and back course. Sounds like a bad acid trip.
What happened to your recent NY pace? Or maybe your pace was the same, just not the total distance?
$8.49 and we have this problem fixed!

Well done! Congrats on the BQ.

"I kept telling myself, if I get to Darwin (mile 91) turnaround without getting sick, the rest will be a piece of cake and it was!"
And it was! Oh really? Who thinks after they cross mile 91 at BW that the rest will be a piece of cake?
#minivantothefinish #readmechriskostman
So, at Mile 91, she has 44 miles left (enough of a distance for even an ultra runner to take seriously) and of those 44 miles remaining, the last 10 are all uphill to the tune of a 9000 foot climb in elevation.
Who thinks that is easy??

No, she didn't say "easy." She said it'd be a "piece of cake." PM hates cake.

Truly amazing.

Or maybe she knew there would be cake in the van. A sheet cake with "Congrats on Cheating at Badwater 135."
Now why don't you all just fvck yerselves with a jackhammer!!!!!!!
Is that the start of a confession?

No, that's brodellero. He is an idiot troll. Just ignore him.
I'm sorry, guys. I didn't mean it. I've just been super frustrated lately with all of this extra homework and my mom says that if I don't keep up my grades this semester she's going to cut back on my allowance. I can't have that. There are some killer Pokemon cards I have my eye on and I'm not letting those get away.
Darn. I was getting excited.
I still wonder if the listed runners really exist.
I emailed the winning runner from one of the IRan marathon results posted earlier in this thread and the individual did indeed run the race. However, I was informed that the B.A.A. will not accept IRan marathon results as BQ races.
