Willis ran 3:57 at TC 1mi last year. Not sure about track. Only recent venue would be at the U of M. Otherwise you'd be looking back at some really old results.
Nobody has broken four on Maine soil. But for Mainers we've had Riley Masters, Erik Nedeau, Will G just ran 3:58, Matt Lane, and Ben True ran like a 3:56 the last 1600m of his 5k at USA's. That's it for natives anyway.
Add Nebraska to the list.
Massachusetts: Rupp 3:50
Dan Wilson ran sub-4 at the Maine Distance Festival a few years ago.
Georgia has a 3:50.86

There were three sub 4 at an indoor meet in Winston-Salem, NC. Yes, we can run down here in the south.

Jason Pyrah ran the first-ever sub-4 on Maine soil at the Maine Distance Festival in 1998 (link here:

I also remember seeing someone (Dan Wilson?) run a 3:59 there in '03 or '04, and I wouldn't be shocked if there were a few others.
Jack Bolas ran sub 4 in Alaska last year
No one has done it in Colorado
Grandma's is a road mile. I don't know that there has ever been an official track sub 4 in MN.

Several in downhill road races...
4:03.99 by Rory Fraser in 2013.
3:41.80 in the 1500 by Manzano in 2008 at Big 12 champs. Stephen Pifer was 3:43.65 in the same race.

Great link! Have seen several of the races on the CO all time list and even ran in at least one or two.

Not Sub 4 (so far): Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming.
I'd bet that Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Maryland have at least had one race under 4:00...but not sure.

Pretty sure that's the list for sub4's from people who were from that state, not that the times were actually ran within the state. Otherwise the Iowa times would be way lower cause the 80s guys killed some Drake relays there. Sick thread though
Yes, the other thread has the Iowans who have done it. It is not a list of where the sub-4 took place.
However, Drake Relays times are rarely super fast due to it being held in April. Webb ran 3:51.71 and Wote ran 3:53.39, but those times are the exception not the rule. Outside of those performances, there have been no sub-3:55 and in the past 9 years and seven of those years had no sub-4 miles (again neglecting Wote/Webb).
You can add Louisiana because a bunch of people went sub-4 in the NCAA meet in Baton Rouge on June 9, 1973, just before the conversion to metric.
Dave Wottle won.
Also Maryland because Dick Buerkle ran an indoor WR of 3:54.93 at the UMD fieldhouse in 1978.
Three more: North Dakota, Utah and Connecticut.
Mike Slack ran 3:59.7 indoor in Fargo ND in 1974.
Doug Padilla ran 3:57.23 in Provo UT in 1983.
Those are both confirmed on the alltime-Athletics.com list.
Also, Gerry O'Reilly ran the only sub-4 in CT at the New England Relays in Manchester CT in 1987. Not on the AA list but here's a newspaper article:

That's all I got.

I was just going to mention padilla's 3.57 mile. check off Utah.
