Just imagine how fast lagat would have run if he was on epo like ramzi
This is not only a major improvement in quality from his 13:31 at Pre, but also he was barely beaten by two good runners (Choge and another guy we've heard from before) in a slow sit and kick 3k here. This indicates that he is coming around and will be running fast times soon enough. Remember that this has happened to him on numerous occasions in the past, getting beaten while in full training in May/June before coming around strong in July and August when it counts. Webb certainly handled him in June of 2007 before Lagat's double at Osaka.
