Anyone know?
I have experience the same issues. I understand the nature of their organization as a startup with a limited budget. And as a former decathlete, with significant experience and frustrations with the current status quo in the sport, I thoroughly support their cause.
I want them to succeed, but am discouraged by the basic to find even basic information (such as location!) on the upcoming meet.
Wonder the same. Do we just show up if we have athletes?
No it's not that kind of meet
Alright got it, Humble High School
Is this meet really at Humble HS?
I thought it was going to be at Rice?
Its 2 days before the meet and we have zero info from the website. How is anyone suppose to go?
There is a reason ATL won't be around next year. Things like lack of information have shot this event in the foot far too often...plus, the athletes never really got behind it like Mr. Doyle thought they would (besides the ones he manages).
I'd love to see the ATLeague prosper, but if anything it looks like it is losing momentum. The photos I've seen show attendance that looks smaller than the crowd at any given HS football game. When I talked to Doyle a month or so ago he mentioned that one of the 'TBA' meets might be held in Santa Barbara in August. But we're two months out and there's no news - how are fans supposed to plan to be in attendance?
I got Humble from Jeremy Wariner's twitter
Not a terrible location, Turner Stadium is probably a nicer track than Houston or Rice
Yeah, I live in Houston. Leaving the loop sounds awful.
All their meets claim a city, but then have it in a suburb of that city. I'm beyond confused.

I live in the Humble/Atascocita area. Not a real nice part of the NE Houston region, though there are some very nice areas further to the east and north. Turner is easy to get to. Nice stadium that had many recent upgrades, in part, for last year's (or year before) USATF Junior Olympics Nat'l Champs meet. About 20-25 minutes out of the Houston metro area, but I-69 getting there is one of the more drivable freeways in the area (for now). Very close to Bush Intercontinental Airport.
I don't know anything about an ATL meet, but the Region 16 Champs meet is being held there in mid June and the JO Nat'l Championships are being held there again in July.
It's at Glenda Dawson HS
ATL needs volunteers for public relations, writing, entries, video, photography, track crews, picking up kids at the airport, hurdles crews, doping chaparones, etc. Give Mr Doyle an email, text, or tweet.

That would be in Pearland - a long way from Humble.
Well that's where their twitter says it is. Doesn't matter, ATL is a massive failure. Nobody in USATF or the track community in general is competence enough to run a good meet. Leave pro track to the Europeans. They know how to run a meet and sell out stadiums. ATL has as much attendance as a D3 regular season football game. London Grand Prix can sell out 100k, but ATL can't get 300 people to come for free. Pre, Penn, and Texas are the only American track meets worthy of existence.
My bad on Humble, thats what I got from Warnier, my fault for believing someone from Baylor. Turner stadium has seating for a few thousand, Dawson might be able to fit 200 and is out in the middle of nowhere. Another great ATL meet.
and Drake...
~3:20 PDT - here's the latest tweet, now it's at Rice. WTH? I mean food trucks are more predictable than this meet.
@americantrack
Correction to our first post: ATL Houston will be held at Rice University at 7pm on Friday! Share with your friends in the Houston area!
If there are food trucks there I am in.
Bernie's burger bus or Chilantro. Hell monster pb&j would work.
