That said, What Rupp has done is announce record attempts and either get them (see past indoor season) or pace someone else to one (see solinksy), unintentionally sure hehe.

this is an excellent 10k, not too hard and not too easy, the hometown hero rupp is the class of the field (he has more olympic medals than all the other runners in the race COMBINED) and should win, but if the other runners are not too much intimidated and in awe of rupps olympic accomplishments, they should be able to give him a good race.
